Welcome to my website! Coded Structure is my slice of the web, where I put various thinkings and projects mostly related to technical topics. My technical interests range far and wide, which means they aren't particularly deep anywhere. Proof-of-concept is about as far as I get before something else has piqued my interest and sent me in a different direction. But there are a few bigger-picture things I'm always interested in:
My tools of choice tend to be Python, C++, and JavaScript, along with PIC microcontrollers and the 74HC series, for getting my hands dirty.
I'm located in Coventry, UK, which is the furthest city form the coast of our lovely island, and where everyone claims the sky is only ever grey. But the sun is shining as I write this, so it can't be as bad as all that.
I'm a Christian, and passionate about seeing God glorified though Jesus Christ, and His Church. I'm also both a scientist - I want to find out about things - and an engineer - to create new things out of old. Sure there is sometimes tension between these (all three - and that ignores awesome stuff like family and friends!). But that's the fun of it all :-)

This website contains a number of fairly experimental projects in various states of maturity. It is a dynamic thing, not a static publication. If one day a page on this website causes your computer to crash, then I'm sorry, and if you let me know I'll try and stop it happening to someone else, but that's it. The worst that should ever happen is that something using lots of JavaScript slows down your computer. How this affects things is up to your browser, operating system, and patience.
This website does not store any personally identifiable information, but may link to third-party websites which have their own privacy policies. Some of the projects on this site will attempt to use the local storage facilities provided by browsers, for the purpose of storing settings in web-based applications.
At the time of writing (November 2010), this entire website is served statically and there is no communication back to the server from the codedstructure.net website. There is no database, so you aren't in it. I don't see this changing in the short-term, and will endeavour to update this disclaimer if and when (before) it does.
